Job Description
As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will be working full-time from our Dumont warehouse in Baton Rouge with your job tasks being:
- Ordering: Accurately source and place orders for all project-related materials, and labor ensuring timelines met.
- Red Ink – Print Packages: Manage and Print all Warehouse packages
- Receive Material: Receive and inspect incoming materials against orders; verify accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Update Calendar: Keep installation, delivery, and receiving schedules up-to-date to maintain clear communication across departments.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, log usage, and support cycle counts to ensure appropriate stock and accurate job costing.
Job Requirements
- Exceptional Organization– Can keep multiple timelines and moving parts in sync.
- Strong Computer Skills – Proficient with spreadsheets, calendar systems, and inventory tools.
- Excellent Communication – Clear and timely communicator with team members and vendors.
- Time Management – Ability to prioritize departmental and team needs throughout the day, while staying on task.
- Growth-Oriented Mindset – Strengths in welcoming feedback, learning fast, and a desire for constant improvement.
- Tenacity – Ability to finish the days task, triumphing over any hurdles or roadblocks.
